Scottie L. Rowe, age of 50, of Morehead, Kentucky, departed this world on August 25, 2023.
He was born March 10, 1973 in Elliott County, Kentucky, to Johnny Rowe of Grayson, Kentucky and the late Sharlene Matthews Rowe.
Scottie enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, and loved his dog, Bentley.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Travis Matthews.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his stepmother, Marsha Rowe; paternal grandmother, Belva Dickerson; one aunt, Easter Jane Rowe; three brothers and their children, John (Rachel) Rowe, Jordan, Lincoln and Cassidy Rowe, Bradley(Tracy) Jenkins, Gregory D. Matthews (Tonya); niece, Laken Matthew; great nieces and nephew, Madelyn and Macee Coursin and Maverick Horton, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, September 1, 2023, at Hampton Rowe Cemetery in New Foundland in Elliot County, Kentucky, with Brother Timothy Branham officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
