Mr. Billy Joe Ratcliff, age 86, of Grayson, Kentucky passed away December 10, 2021 at Elliott County Nursing Home, in Elliott County, Kentucky.
He was born Tuesday, September 17, 1935 in Carter County, Kentucky to the late Heber Ratcliff and Hazel Jane Queen Ratcliff.
Billy was of the Baptist Faith and a retired crane operator.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ratcliff is preceded in death by one brother Gene Ratcliff.
He is survived by three sons, Charles Ratcliff (Lana) of Flatgap, Kentucky, Bill Ratcliff of Logan, Ohio, Rich Ratcliff (Mary) of Lanscaster, Ohio, one brother Donald Ratcliff of Lawrence County, Kentucky, two sisters Kay Felty and Sue Flaugher, both of Grayson, Kentucky, seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2021 at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky with Brother Denver Prater officiating. Burial will follow in East Carter Memory Gardens in Grayson, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
