Mr. Steven Ray Smith age 67 of Grayson, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Community Hospice in Ashland, Kentucky.
He was born July 10, 1954, in Xenia, Ohio a son of Raymond Smith of West Liberty, Kentucky, and the late Ruth Amyx Smith.
Steven was a coal miner operator for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, working on things around the house, coon hunting, going and listening to music, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Smith, and one sister, Sue Sisco.
Along with his father, he is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Lewis Smith, one son Daries (Amy) Conn of Grayson, Kentucky, one daughter, Selena (Charles) Terry of Grayson, Kentucky, nine grandchildren, Tyler (Kiley) Conn, Braiden Davis, Brooklyn Conn, Charlie Terry, Eli Terry, Emily (Andrew) Wolfe, Cameron Stephens, Brody Stephens and Ellie Stephens, three great-grandchildren, Bailey Conn, Rayden Davis, Judah Wolfe, one brother, Eddie (Carol) Smith of Fairborn, Ohio, two sisters, Linda (Dewey) Parker of West Liberty, Kentucky, Rosemary (Oddie) Literal of West Liberty, Kentucky.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Chaplin Jim Smedley officiating.
Friends may visit after 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021, until the service hour at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky for Mr. Steven Ray Smith.
