Mrs. Catherine Parish Wagoner, age 88, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at her residence.
She was born Monday, May 21, 1934 in Elliott County, Kentucky to the late Alt and Rosie Davis Parish.
Catherine loved cleaning house, cooking for her family and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Haskell “Hack” Wagoner; one son, Thomas Wagoner; three brothers, Verl Parish, Virgil Parish, Bun Parish and one sister Carmie Catron.
Catherine is survived by three sons, Talmadge (Janice) Wagoner, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Delmas (Vivian) Wagoner of Morehead, Kentucky, Randy (Roxanne) Wagoner of Morehead, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Rodney Wagoner, Tony (Jamie) Wagoner, Tina (Joe) Stevens; three great-grandchildren, Cierra Wagoner, Bradley (Bethany) Wagoner, Carter Stevens; one great-great granddaughter, Emma Grace Wagoner, along with a host of other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Victor Mabry officiating. Burial will follow in the Wagoner Family Cemetery in Elliott County, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022 and after 9 a.m. until the service hour on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Rodney Wagoner, Tony Wagoner, Bradley Wagoner, Joe Stevens, Sid Parish and Dale Brown will serve as pallbearers.
Jim Roe and Andrew LeMaster will serve as honorary pallbearers.
