Daisy Yvonne Stevens Moore, age 80, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Life Care Center in Morehead, Kentucky.
She was born Tuesday, June 20, 1944, in Lewis County, Kentucky to the late Willie and Cora Gilliam Stevens.
Daisy was a member of Nolen Pentecostal Church and loved going to church and listening to the singing. She enjoyed playing Bingo, boat riding and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband of 11 years, James Mason Moore; one brother, Elwood Stevens and two sisters, Bertha Bloomfield, Betty Clark.
Daisy is survived by one son, William Lacey Logan Jr., of Olive Hill, Kentucky; four daughters, Karen (Donald) Butler of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Donna (Nathaniel) Ison of West Liberty, Kentucky, Twana Frint of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Shawnya Logan of Fairborn, Ohio; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchilden, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2025, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Daniel Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Ridge Cemetery in Carter County, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m., Monday, June 16, 2025, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Brandon Thoroughman, Ryan Adams, Nathaniel Ison, Billy Stevens, James Frint, and Terry Tolliver will serve as pallbearers.
