Eloise Jenkins, 100, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. She was born June 4, 1922, in Stone, KY a daughter of the late Harmon and Alice Queen Marcum.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Jenkins; two daughters, Bee Eloise Crisp, and Brenda Collier; four brothers and four sisters; five grandchildren, Jackie Evans, Christopher Polcyn, Alexandra Paige Bush, Morgan McDavid and Mahlon McCord.
She was a housewife and mother, and the oldest member of the John’s Run Tabernacle Church.
She is survived by two sons, Johnnie Jenkins of Grayson, and Jeffery (Alisa) Jenkins of Columbus, OH; three daughters, Thelma Polcyn of Ashland, KY, Melinda (Denzil) Clevenger of Germantown, KY, and Carmel Maggard of Grayson, KY; seventeen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and a special niece, Mary Hay.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Delmar Rogers, minister. Burial will follow in the Edison Cemetery on Mayhew Flats near Grayson.
Visitation will be Friday, November 4, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home.
