Mary Deloris Jackson, 86 of Grayson passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at her residence. She was born March 1, 1936, in Willard, KY a daughter of the late Dennis and Opal Hardy Sexton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Jackson; a son, Danny Jackson; two brothers, Floyd Sexton and Jude Sexton; a sister, Helen Jean Gallion; a grandson, Dustin Jackson.
She was a member of the Carter Church of Christ, a homemaker, and had worked as the Delicontessent manager at Ralph’s Foodland and Justice IGA in Grayson.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Dickerson and Jewel Miller both of Grayson; three sons, Guy and his wife, Regina Jackson of Grayson; Dusty and his wife, Tammy Jackson of Webbville; Kyle and his wife, Anna Jackson of Grayson; two brothers, Mitch Sexton and Freeman Sexton both of Grayson, and a host of grand and great-grandchildren to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 31, at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Scott Roberts, minister. Burial will follow in the Sexton Family Cemetery near Willard.
Visitation will be Monday, October 31, 2022, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
