Janet Lee Elliott Manning, age 66, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Tuesday, October 22, 1957, in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late William Estill and Joann Carroll Elliott.
Janet was an avid fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats. She enjoyed all sporting events; attending car shows with her ‘65 Mustang, “Clell”; working in her flowers; hosting family gatherings and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Elliott, Bill Elliott, Elwood Elliott and one sister Judy Pence.
Janet is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Dean Manning; one daughter, Tracy Jo Elliott of Grayson, Kentucky; the love of her life her grandson, Kody Dean (Haley) Hutchinson; her special pet, Max; her Father-in-law & Mother-in-law, Carroll and Judy Manning; along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Tracy Kinney and Brother Terrell Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the Manning Cemetery #1, in Carter County, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 20, 2024, and after 9 a.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2024, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Chris Manning, Jon Gilliam, Gary Bond, Taylor Webb, Rocky Kiser, Tyson Webb and Kody Hutchinson will serve as pallbearers.
Fermon Shepherd Sr., Troy Roark and Travis Roark will serve as honorary pallbearers.
