Randy Rayburn, age 66, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Tuesday, July 23, 1957, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Thomas “Tomo” and Edna Gilliam Rayburn.
Randy loved singing for the Lord, going hunting, farming and taking care of his cattle, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Shannon Michelle Bear; four brothers, Garry Rayburn, Jeffory Rayburn, Stanley Rayburn and Tommy Rayburn; two sisters, Betty Enix and Deana Isaac.
Randy is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Jodi Lawhorn Rayburn and one son, Eric (Brittany) Rayburn; son in law, Shannon Ray Bear; six grandchildren, Collin, Aiden, Sophia, Madelyn, Britin and Oliver; three brothers, Larry (Jeanette) Rayburn of Mansfield, Ohio, J.D. (Debbie) Rayburn, Harley (Teresa) Rayburn all of Olive Hill, Kentucky; six sisters, Helen Masters of Mansfield, Ohio, Melva Henson of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Sue (Otis) Bond of Morehead, Kentucky, Joann (John) Jordan of Laurel, Kentucky, Vicki Rayburn of Marion, Indiana and Peggy (Ronnie) White of Old Trace, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Friday, March 1, 2024, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Ronald Logan and Brother John Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the Rayburn Cemetery on Tomo Road.
Friends may visit after 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 1, 2024, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Collin Bear, Aiden Bear, Cody Rayburn, Josh White, Brian Bond and William Jordan will serve as pallbearers.
