Joyce Porter Ratcliff

1951-2020

Mrs. Joyce Porter Ratcliff, age 68, of Grayson, Kentucky, passed away Sunday evening, August 23, 2020, at her residence. 

She was born December 31, 1951, in Elliott County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Willie and Faye Frazier Porter.

Joyce was of the Christian faith and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored. She was retried from Bayes General Store in Willard where she worked for almost 20 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Royce Porter, Denver Porter, Ward Porter and Rex Porter and one sister, Myrtle Porter.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 48 years, Milton Ratcliff; one son, Clint Ratcliff (Taffy) of Grayson, Kentucky; one daughter, Kristi Davis (Brian) of Milwawkee, Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Allison Corns, Piper Davis, Syler Ratcliff, Dawson Ratcliff and Lucas Davis; one brother, Triggor Porter (Sandy) of Webbville, Kentucky; and two sisters, Christine Cooper of Grayson, Kentucky, and Wanda Wells (Thomas) of Vermilion, Ohio. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Grayson, Kentucky, with Brother David Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter Memory Gardens in Grayson, Kentucky.

Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2020, and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at Grayson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky 41143.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, we ask that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing.
