Mrs. Lola Maggie Greenhill, age 71, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was born June 7, 1949, in Gasling, Kentucky, a daughter of the Edward and Faithie Burge Sullivan.
Lola was of the Christian faith and she enjoyed going to church, watching westerns, singing and dancing, and spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dan Davis; her second husband, Kernsie Greenhill; one daughter, Lola Mae Davis; six brothers, Lawrence Sullivan, Carl Sullivan, Gordon Sullivan, Roy Lee Sullivan, Clyde Sullivan and Carlos Sullivan; and one sister, Hazel Sullivan.
Lola is survived by one daughter, Lola Michelle Colegrove of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one step-son, J.C. Greenhill of Grayson, Kentucky; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Kiser of Olive Hill, Kentucky. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother John Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Manning Chapel Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2020, and after 9 a.m. on Thursday at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Wesley Colegrove, Tristan Colegrove, Matthew Colegrove, Gabriel Colegrove, Tyler Davis and Timothy Edmundson will serve as pallbearers.
