Mary Lewis Johnson Blevins, age 83, of Grayson, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation in Grayson, Kentucky, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Wednesday, March 3, 1943, in Grayson, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Virgil and Allie Suttles Johnson.
Mary enjoyed serving the Lord and going to church, where she was a faithful attendee of Myrtle Tree Missionary Baptist Church. She retired from Tom’s Pizza in Grayson, Kentucky, and enjoyed working in her flowers and garden. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She also cherished the companionship of her very special friend, Billy L. Stidham.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her loving husband, Elgan “EW” Blevins; one grandchild; six brothers and two sisters.
She is survived two sons, Terry Blevins, Tim (Denise) Blevins, all of Grayson, Kentucky; five grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; one brother, Ralph (Carole) Johnson of San Francisco, California; two sisters, Maxine March of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, Kathy (Frank) Derski of Grayson, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends that will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Grayson Funeral Home, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky 41143, with Brother Kyle Burchett and Brother Keith Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Blevins Family Cemetery in Grayson, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 12 Noon, Wednesday, September 16, 2026, until the service hour at Grayson Funeral Home.
Mary’s grandchildren will be serving as pallbearers.
