Barbara Delaney Wells, age 78, of Grayson, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026, at her residence in Grayson, Kentucky, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Wednesday, December 17, 1947, in Clincho, Virginia, a daughter of the late Lawrence Clifford and Manthalee Newberry Delaney.
She enjoyed fishing, riding her 4-wheeler, cooking Sunday dinner and spending time with her family. She was an all round happy person and loved everyone.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Wells; one son, Samuel Dean Wells; and one sister, Billie Nemeth.
She is survived by one daughter, Christine Caines (Jesse Blankenship) of Grayson, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Hannah Layne (Quinton Wells), both of Elliott County, Kentucky, Zachary Layne of Grayson, Kentucky, Samuel Wells of Belleville, Michigan, Manthalee (Joseph) Pelzer of Brownstown, Michigan; five great grandchildren, Axel Wells, Candice Wells, Samuel Wells, Amelia Pelzer, Tristan Pelzer; two sisters, Linda Kowalewski of Redford, Michigan, Nina (Don) Buono of Wayne, Michigan; along with many other family and friends that will sadly miss her.
At the request of the family, there will be no service at this time.
