Mary Louise Isaacs Bond, age 88, of Grayson, Kentucky passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Saturday, August 25, 1935, in Carter County, Kentucky, to the late Joe and Lucy Johnston Isaacs.
Mary attended Hitchins Wesleyan Church and she was the secretary at Bond’s Backhoe Service. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, playing her guitar and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Richard “Dick” Bond Jr.; two brothers, Earl Isaacs, Delmar Ray Isaacs; two sisters, Betty Joe Boggs and Imogene Prichard.
Mary is survived by one daughter, Donna (James) Boggs of Grayson, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Cregg) Castle and Jessica (Billy) Hanners, all of Grayson, Kentucky; four great-grandchildren, Hannah Bradford of Morehead, Kentucky, Kane Castle, Garon Castle and Kash Hanners, all of Grayson, Kentucky; one brother, Donald (Deanna) Isaacs of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Phyllis Kotcamp of New Carlisle, Ohio; one sister-in-law, Olive Isaacs of Grayson, Kentucky; special care giver, Pam Stone along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky, with Brother Denver Prater officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast in Grayson, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2023, after 9 a.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2023, until the service hour at Grayson Funeral Home.
