William E. McGinnis, age 86, of Grayson, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023, at Sanctuary of Ohio Valley in Ironton, Ohio.
He was born Saturday, June 12, 1937, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of the late Wince and Rosie Arthur McGinnis.
William was a member of Smith Creek Christian Holiness Church and loved going to church, fishing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lynn McGinnis; one brother, Vinton L. McGinnis and one sister, Senia Lou Johnson.
He is survived by one son, William McGinnis of California; one brother, Oscar (Sheree) McGinnis of Grayson, Kentucky; one sister, Barbara Stash of Florida, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2023, at East Carter Memory Gardens in Grayson, Kentucky with Brother Gary Jordan officiating.
