Phyllis Gealine Davis Porter age 80 of Olive Hill, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 8, 1941, in Carter County, Kentucky a daughter of the late James Davis and Pauline Shumate Barker.
Phyllis was a homemaker and attended Olive Hill Senior Citizens. She enjoyed going to church, cooking for her children, grandchildren, and all their friends, and cleaning.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Curtis Ross Porter, one brother, Eugene Davis, one sister, Ruth Conn.
Phyllis is survived by one son, Christopher Porter wife (Kim) of Olive Hill, Kentucky, two daughters, Vickie Lynn Stamper husband (Richard “Rick”) of Maryland and Stacy Bond husband (CE) of Olive Hill, Kentucky, eight grandchildren, Brandy, Michael Ann, Brock, Richie, Chris-Colby, Cole, Lexi, Shelby, and Garrett Wolfe that she thought of as a grandson. Twelve great-grandchildren, one sister, Bonnie Porter of Olive Hill, Kentucky, along with a host of other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Bobby Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Olive Hill Memorial Gardens in Olive Hill Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 12-noon until the service hour Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Cole Bond, Richie Stamper, Christoper Colby Porter, Steve Lackey, Albert Mercado, and Garrett Wolfe will serve as pallbearers.
