Troy Dean Bentley, age 60, of Ironton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at UK-King’s Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
He was born Wednesday, October 27, 1965, in Boyd County, Kentucky, a son of the late Victor Bentley and Aline Stevens Bentley.
Troy enjoyed fishing, riding his 4 wheeler, painting, woodworking and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 26 years, Debra Stump Bentley; three brothers, Junior Bentley, Andrew Bentley, Tommy Ingram; four sisters, Betty Reffitt, Cathy Church, Loretta Bentley and Vickie Bentley.
Troy is survived by two daughters, Tera Sullivan of Huntington, West Virginia, Jessica Sullivan of Cannonsburg, Kentucky; three grandchildren; four brothers, Bobby Bentley of Kitts Hill, Ohio, Jesse Bentley, Roy Bentley both of Ironton, Ohio, Keith Wilson of Ashland, Kentucky; three sisters, Shirley Wilson of Ashland, Kentucky, Ollie Church of Coal Grove, Ohio, Lora Anson of Ironton, Ohio, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Tony Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Bentley Cemetery on Carter Caves Road.
Friends may visit after 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2026, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
