Donald Ray Frazier, age 83, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026, at UK King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
He was born Wednesday, August 19, 1942, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Edward “Ed” and Hazel Kiser Frazier.
Donald was a retired laborer from the brickyard, and was of Old Regular Baptist Faith. He enjoyed working as a auctioneer selling merchandise and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Sharon Leadingham Frazier; one daughter, Paula Oney; two brothers, Kenny Frazier, Bud Frazier; one sister, Peggy Hignite and one grandchild, Michael Bawcum.
Donald is survived by three sons, Brian (Regina) Frazier of Grayson, Kentucky, Allen Frazier, Jamie (Renee) Frazier all of Grahn, Kentucky; one daughter, Rebecca (Ed) Kidd of Elliott County; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, Jeff Oney of Raceland, Kentucky; one sister, Merline (Buck) Adams of Grahn, Kentucky; one brother-in-law, Oral Hignite of Olive Hill, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in Frazier Family Cemetery on Aden Road in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, April 24, 2026, and after 9 a.m., Saturday, April 25, 2026, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Jamie Frazier, Allen Frazier, Brian Frazier, David Oney, Cody Frazier and Jason Chapman will serve as pallbearers.
