Letter to the Editor: Progress Kentucky

I am a founding member of Progress Kentucky. We are a Central Kentucky-based 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization working to educate and engage voters across our commonwealth to build a larger, more informed and involved community of Kentucky changemakers. To learn more about us you can check out our Facebook page at Progress Kentucky or listen to our weekly livestream/podcast “Colonels of Truth!” covering breaking Kentucky political news and interviewing informed voices from the Commonwealth.

Currently, we are running a poll related to actions taken by the Kentucky legislature in the General Session that ended in April. Here is a link to the poll https://bit.ly/RANK-KYGA22.

The poll is titled the Worst Actions of this Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Legislature. Many of this session’s actions were regressive, hurt the most vulnerable people, reduced taxes on the rich at the expense of the poor and middle class, such as refusing to cap the cost of insulin.

We encourage you to take the poll, and if you find it useful, please feel free to share it with your friends via email or Facebook or other social media. We plan to release it to the press and public in June, to update the general public about the enacted priorities of the current legislative leadership.

In the future we need progressive policies, not policies that hurt “We the People”
