On November 22, the Olive Hill and Grayson Police Departments participated in the first annual “ Battle of the Badges” blood drive. The Olive Hill Police Department won the 1 round of the friendly competition, by collecting 21 units of blood. Grayson Police Department collected 14 units of blood. The total units of blood could help save 105 lives. Just as East and West Carter High School pass the barrel back and forth to the winner, we will pass the blood drop to the winner each year. Until the next time Olive Hill Police will maintain the blood drop. (submitted photos)
