The Willard Post 342 American Legion family are sponsoring their sixth annual Willard Independence Celebration this weekend, with events kicking off at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
The celebration, at 8904 KY State Route 1 in Willard, will include live entertainment and free inflatables for the children.
Food trucks and other vendors will also be on site.
The Legion will conduct a flag retirement ceremony at 7 p.m. to be followed by a gun raffle and then fireworks after the sun goes down.
There is no charge to attend, listen to the music, let your children play on the inflatables, and watch the fireworks display, and everyone in the community is welcome and encouraged to join in.
