I love this time of year. The air is so fresh, and the colors and smells that come from the season’s change are so comforting. It’s also as good a time as spring when it comes to getting our homes in order or maintaining what we have already accomplished.
While you are preparing for the upcoming holidays reorganize as you begin to decorate, or think about what foods you are going to make, or what gifts you plan to buy. When you pull out those decorations, put the items they will replace in containers to avoid overcrowding and freely allow the decorations to fully express the meaning of this time of year. When you are planning your menus, organize your pantry or cupboards to allow for more space and easy access to what you will need. When you are shopping for gifts think about creating a holiday budget so your expenses will be within reason and when you are wrapping those gifts, use what you already have before you buy more.
There is so much to do, but if you organize as you go you will celebrate having the wisdom to be free from disorder.
