Times, these days, have gotten financially more difficult to maintain our lifestyles. We have higher gas and food prices, and this time of year means we have school and holiday expenses to consider. We are having to prioritize where our money goes and do without special events and services we are used to having access to. I understand because I, too, am living a downsized existence.
Things will improve and when they do you will find that you are able to enjoy some extras that have been put on hold. When spring comes around again, think about prioritizing your expenditures to include hiring someone to help you get your home in order. Now, I know this sounds like a brazen pitch for my services, but actually it’s to get you to think about time and money when it comes to the possibility of hiring extra help.
Your time is as valuable as the dollars you earn and hiring a gardener, a housekeeper, or a caregiver is worth the investment. These are service providers that free you up to take care of more immediate needs like spending more time with your kids, or having meaningful conversations with those close to you that need care. Do some research about what services cost and then negotiate a schedule that is financially feasible.
The benefits are endless when your life is in order. Don’t take hiring help as something out of reach, think of it as an answer to living your best life ever.
