The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center over the past week. This list includes local arrests only. It does not include federal inmates being housed at or transported through the detention center.

  • Charles Bryant, 37, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance, reckless driving, failure to maintain required insurance, failure to produce insurance, failure to produce an insurance card, and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, arrested and booked March 10.
  • Steven Franklin, 28, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a charge of fourth degree assault (domestic violence) causing minor injury, arrested and booked March 10.
  • Brenda Baier, 64, of Ashland, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, arrested and booked March 11.
  • Chanda Rodgers, 38, of Flatwoods, arrested by Grayson PD, on a charge of third degree trespassing, arrested and booked March 11.
  • Jessica Prichard, 51, of Florence, arrested by Department of Corrections, on a probation violation for a technical violation, arrested and booked March 11.
  • April Richmond, 27, of Emerson, arrested by Carter County Detention Center, on four counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked March 11.
  • Michael Ramsey, 33, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Detention Center, on two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked March 11.
  • Celina Duncan, 41, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on a charge of contempt of court – libel/slander – resistance to order, arrested and booked March 12.
  • Kevin Gose, 61, of Rush, arrested by Grayson PD, on six counts of non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, and two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked March 12.
  • Jordan Knell, 19, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, serving a warrant for a parole violation, arrested and booked March 12.
  • Angela Lucas, 56, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Detention Center, charges unavailable, arrested and booked March 12.
  • William Yeager, 64, of Olive Hill, arrested by Grayson PD, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, arrested and booked March 12.
  • Jeremy Stewart, 50, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of rear license not illuminated, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance, operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, no registration receipt, failure to produce an insurance card, and failure to appear, arrested and booked March 12.
  • Chanda Rodgers, 38, of Flatwoods, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, no registration receipt, no registration plates, and failure to wear seat belts, arrested and booked March 13.
  • Jaylin Clark, 19, of Georgetown, arrested by Elliott County Sheriff, on a parole violation for a technical violation, arrested and booked March 13.
  • Kadeem Nelson, 34, of Charlotte, NC, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of attempted murder, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, arrested and booked March 13.
  • Paul Sammons, 59, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), failure to wear seat belts, no registration receipts, no registration plates, improper display of registration plates, failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, failure to maintain required insurance, and obstructed vision or windshield, arrested and booked March 13.

  • Chase Burchett, 25, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, on a charge of violating a Kentucky Emergency Protection Order/Domestic Violence Order (EPO/DVO), arrested and booked March 14.

  • Amos Reynolds, 36, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of fourth degree assault (domestic violence) with no visible injury, filing a false incident report with law enforcement, and filing a false report which generates an emergency response, arrested and booked March 15.
  • Ryan McBride, 26, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of failure to appear, first degree rape (with $100,000 cash bond), and first degree strangulation (non-domestic violence), arrested and booked March 15.
  • Raymond Dearfield, 61, of Hitchins, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on a charge of public intoxication on a controlled substance (excludes alcohol), arrested and booked March 15.

  • William Huff, 68, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of rear license not illuminated, failure to wear seat belts, license not in possession, no registration receipt, failure to produce an insurance card, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, arrested and booked March 16.
