The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center over the past week. This list includes local arrests only. It does not include federal inmates being housed at or transported through the detention center.
- Barry Ison, 69, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a hold for court, arrested and booked July 15.
- Matthew Carver, 49, of Vanceburg, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, no registration plates, failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle, failure to maintain required insurance, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, and no registration receipt, arrested and booked July 15.
- Charles Stevens, 33, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on a charge of receiving stolen property, arrested and booked July 15.
- Kenny Bailey, 65, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, and first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), arrested and booked July 16.
- April Knipp, 35, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 16.
- Anthony Light, 53, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Circuit Court, for drug court, arrested and booked July 17.
- Tiffany Belcher, 43, of McDowell, arrested by Grayson PD, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 18.
- Stephen Ludwig, 33, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Circuit Court, for drug court, arrested and booked July 18.
- Sherry Blevins, 46, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 19.
- Kristin Moore, 41, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 20.
- Joshua Layne, 33, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of speeding 10 MPH over limit, no operator’s license, and failure to appear, arrested and booked July 20.
- Aleshia Carver, 28, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, for non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked July 21.
- Boyd Littleton, 32, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, on a charge of being a fugitive (warrant not required), arrested and booked July 21.
