Weekly arrests report: 7/27/22

The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center over the past week. This list includes local arrests only. It does not include federal inmates being housed at or transported through the detention center. 

  • Dylan Douglas, 29, of Grayson, arrested by Olive Hill PD, serving a bench warrant for court, arrested and booked July 18.Ā 
  • Bruce Sexton, 49, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of first degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), resisting arrest, harassing communications, third degree terroristic threatening, violation of a Kentucky emergency protective order/domestic violence order, and two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked July 18.Ā 
  • Jason Psimer, 45, of Olive Hill, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), tampering with physical evidence, no registration plates, improper signal, disregarding stop sign, and failure to produce insurance card, arrested and booked July 18.Ā 
  • Julie Porter, 44, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 19.Ā 
  • Michael Knight, 32, of Milton, WV, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on a charge of alcohol intoxication in a public place, arrested and booked July 19.Ā 
  • Roxana Jenkins, 32, of Morehead, arrested by Kentucky State Police, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 19.Ā 
  • Sarita Claypool, 30, of Huntington, WV, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 19.
  • Kimberly Young, 42, of Catlettsburg, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on a charge of contempt of court – libel/slander – resistance to order, arrested and booked July 19.Ā 
  • Ronald Carroll, 36, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on two counts of failure to appear, arrested and booked July 19.Ā 
  • Kenneth Switzer, 36, of Vanceburg, arrested by Carter County District Court, on a charge of first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), arrested and booked July 20.Ā 
  • Sonia Wilson, 35, of Garrison, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, and serving a warrant for parole violation, arrested and booked July 20.Ā 
  • Joanna Arthur, 24, of Greenup, arrested by Grayson PD, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 20.Ā 
  • Keil Hanson, 51, of Earth City, MO, arrested by Grayson PD, on a charge of alcohol intoxication in a public place, arrested and booked July 20.Ā 
  • Stephanie Porter, 34, of Sandy Hook, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 20.Ā 
  • Abagayle Wilson, 21, of Grayson, arrested by Fish and Wildlife, on a charge of theft by unlawful taking more than $500 but less than $1,000, arrested and booked July 20.Ā 
  • Billy Collins, 39, of Grayson, held by Drug Court, arrested and booked July 20.Ā 
  • Jason Ruth, 46, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of no operator’s license, first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and operating a motor vehicle under the influence, arrested and booked July 20.Ā 
  • Donald Barker, 49, of Milton, WV, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of no registration receipt, failure to maintain required insurance, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure to wear seat belts, operating a vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, and first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), arrested and booked July 20.Ā 
  • Jason Cummings, 29, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on charges of receiving stolen property valued at more than $1,000 but less than $10,000, arrested and booked July 22.Ā 
  • Kalo Price, 39, of Grayson, arrested by Kentucky State Police, on charges of improper turn – drive line – enter limited access highway, improper passing, reckless driving, failure to wear seat belts, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, giving an officer false identifying information, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, and two counts of non-payment of court costs, fees, or fines, arrested and booked July 22.Ā 
  • Melissa Stewart, 53, of Grayson, arrested by Grayson PD, on a charge of fourth degree assault (domestic violence) with minor injury, arrested and booked July 22.Ā 
  • William Sloas, 50, of Grayson, arrested by Greenup County Sheriff, on a charge of fourth degree assault (dating violence) with minor injury, arrested and booked July 22.Ā 
  • Tyffany Jones, 38, of Ashland, arrested by Kentucky State Police, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 22.Ā 
  • Jonathan Huffman, 42, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of failure to notify address change to department of transportation, theft by unlawful taking more than $500 but less than $1,000, failure to appear, and theft by unlawful taking more than $1,000 but less than $10,000, arrested and booked July 22.Ā 
  • Ricky Rose, 38, of Olive Hill, arrested by Olive Hill PD, on charges of first degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and alcohol intoxication in a public place, arrested and booked July 22.Ā 
  • David Stallard, 45, of Olive Hill, arrested by Kentucky State Police, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 23.Ā 
  • Robin Ingram, 34, of Grayson, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, for failure to appear, arrested and booked July 23.Ā 
  • Parres Daniels, 21, address unknown, WV, arrested by Carter County Sheriff, on charges of trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana (less than eight ounces), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and giving an officer false identifying information, arrested and booked July 24.Ā
