West Carter Youth Service Center coordinator Karen Adkins has announced that the school district is accepting nominations for the West Carter High School and West Carter Middle School site-based decision-making councils.
Nominations for each school are open for, “parents and legal guardians of students enrolled at West Carter (Middle or High School) for school year 2022-2023.” These nominations are for a parent representative to the council, and are open through May 20.
Elections to the council will be held May 24, from 7:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. in the lobby of each school. Only parents and legal guardians of students enrolled at each school are eligible to vote.
