Donald R. Brewster, age 95, of Grayson, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born January 21, 1930, in Lincoln County, West Virginia, to the late Rufus and Dorothy Cremeans Brewster.
Donald enjoyed reading, political discussions, doing yard work and spending time with his bulldogs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Brewster, James Brewster, Ronald Brewster.
He is survived by four sons, Wesley Jones, Chalmers Jones both of Columbus, Ohio, Donald Brewster Jr. of North Carolina, James E. Brewster of Florida; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Brewster, Roger Brewster both of Logan, West Virginia; two sisters, Betty Hendrix of Kentucky and Judy Ooten of Virginia, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, March 21, 2025, at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky with Brother Ralph Perry officiating. Burial will follow in East Carter Memory Gardens in Grayson, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, March 20, 2025 and after 9 a.m., Friday, March 21, 2025, until the service hour at Grayson Funeral Home.
Military Honors will be conducted at the graveside by Kenova American Legion Post 93.
