Larry Allan Cantrell, age 74, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024, at his residence.
He was born June 12, 1950, in Boyd County, Kentucky, a son of the late Joseph Herman and Garnet Grizzell Cantrell.
Larry enjoyed doing carpentry work, tinkering on vehicles, and loved fishing, but, most of all he loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Mason Cantrell; one brother and two sisters.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Theresa Akers Cantrell; one son and his wife, Matt and Shelby Cantrell of Rush, Kentucky; one daughter, Kelley Cantrell of Ashland, Kentucky; one grandson, Myles Cantrell of Rush, Kentucky; one brother, Donald Cantrell, of Indianapolis, Indiana, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 49 McCoy Road, Grayson, Kentucky with Brother Roger Cline officiating. Burial will follow in Kirby Flats Cemetery in Boyd County, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2024, until the service hour at Grayson Funeral Home.
