American Legion Auxiliary donates items

Carol Rucker, President of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 342 Willard, would like to thank Don and Donna of The Book Depot in Willard for their donation, in conjunction with The American Legion Family Willard Post 342, for helping make this donation possible. Ten CD boom boxes and ten sets of headphones were donated for use by the residents of Carter County Nursing Home, in Grayson. Every second Thursday at 2 p.m. we host a friendly game of Bingo with the residents, if anyone wants to join in brightening their days or would like to donate prizes (such as jewelry, hygiene items, bananas, individual wrapped chips or snacks, juices and pop, etc.) you can contact us at 606-474-7430.
