Agnes Fay Jordan Kitchen, age 83, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born September 13, 1939 in Carter County, Kentucky to the late Clyde and Effie Humphries Jordan.
Fay enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, mushroom hunting, riding four wheelers, and playing pranks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Charley Kitchen; six brothers, Arthur Jordan, Luther Jordan, Bobby Gene Jordan, Charles Dean Jordan, Clyde Elroy Jordan and Roger Jordan.
Fay is survived by one daughter, Kathy (Terry) Stafford of Winchester, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Terra Stafford Pigg (Donovan); two great-grandchildren, Baley Pigg and Wyatt Pigg; two sisters, Anes Raye McGlone and Myrtie (Raymond) Cline all of Olive Hill, Kentucky, along with many nieces and nephews who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Glenn Kitchen and Brother Terry Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Kent Cline, Brent Cline, Glenn Kitchen, Stephen Kitchen, Joe Kitchen and Danny Stamper will serve as pallbearers.
Wyatt Pigg, Donovan Pigg, Jason Maggard, Daniel Jordan and Dale Stamper will serve as honorary pallbearers.
