Mrs. Bonnie Lou Gilliam Rayburn, age 78, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord, July 16, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born January 14, 1945, in Carter County, Kentucky, to the late Clyde Harold and Oma Audrey Pendlum Gilliam.
Bonnie was a member of the Flat Fork Church of God. She enjoyed quilting, going to antique auctions, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Dale Gilliam and one sister, Patricia Gaye Flatt.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Chelmar Rayburn; two sons, Michael C. Rayburn (Tana Black) and Roger Dale (Jennifer) Rayburn; two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Owens and Jeanette Kay (Steve) Stone all of Olive Hill, Kentucky; eight grandchildren Jarrod (Danielle), Brittany (JP), Kyle (Makendra), Tyler (Autumn), Tanner, Allie, Talon, Griffin; six great grandchildren, Kennedy, Blake, Kendall, Brinlynn, Tucker and Tate; one brother, Gary Clyde (Patty) Gilliam of Hurricane, West Virginia; two sisters, Joyce Ann Nolen of Greenwood, Indiana and Beverly Jean Gilliam of Olive Hill, Kentucky, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Clifford “Tippy” Price, Brother Mark Nolen and Brother Steve Madden officiating. Burial will follow in the Dean Cemetery in Globe, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2023, and after 9 a.m., Thursday, July 20, 2023, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Jarrod Owens, Kyle Stone, Tyler Rayburn, Tanner Rayburn, Talon Rayburn and Griffin Rayburn will serve as pallbearers.
JP Reynolds and Sam Jones will serve as honorary pallbearer.
