Timmy Boggs, age 62, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023, at St. Claire Healthcare Center in Morehead, Kentucky.
He was born Saturday, July 8, 1961, in Carter County, Kentucky, to the late Claude and Lillie Jeffrey Boggs.
Timmy attended the Limestone Apostolic Church. He enjoyed listening to music, especially, the Beatles, the oldies and country music, watching westerns and UK Basketball, playing guitar, and spending time with his family, church friends, and his animals, especially Peanut.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Eddie Boggs, Roger Boggs, Caney Boggs, George Boggs and Gary Boggs; four sisters, Cathy Boggs, Linda Stone, June Porter and Pauline Parish.
Timmy is survived by his wife of 27 years, Donna Lowe Boggs; three daughters, Crystal Boggs, Christy Boggs (Billy Parsons) all of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Sabrina Boggs (Alan Belcher) of Pikeville, Kentucky; three brothers, Donnie Boggs, Ellis (Jennifer) Boggs and Verl (Valentina) Boggs all of Grayson, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Wendell Floyd Parsons and Caden Reid Belcher along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Herbie Jones and Brother Rick Crank officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowe Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2023, and after 9 a.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2023, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Cebert Boggs, Andrew Stevens, Joey Stone, Davey Boggs, Herbie Jones, Cody Lowe, Jeremy Fletcher, Sid Parish and Claude Lee Boggs will serve as pallbearers.
Guy Underwood will serve as honorary pallbearer.
