Mrs. Connie Patton James, age 75, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, formerly of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Southern Ohio Medical Center, in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born April 3, 1946 in Lewis County to the late James and Hazel Tolle Patton.
Connie was a Christian. She enjoyed making crafts and cooking. She especially loved the holidays and cooking for her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Teddy James. One son, Andy James. Three brothers, Harry Donald Tolle, Jimmy Patton, and Richard Patton. One sister, Naomi Carver.
Connie is survived by two sons, Todd (Katie) James of Bardstown, Kentucky, and Shane James of Morehead, Kentucky. One brother, Earl (Velva) Patton of Vanceburg, Kentucky. One sister, Sheilah Hyrne of Vanceburg, Kentucky. Two grandchildren, Bryce James and Cody James along with a host of other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Marcus McCleese officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
