Daniel Lee (Danny) Caudill 75 years old of Grahn, Kentucky passed away July 29, 2023 at Kings Daughters Medical Center.
He was born May 15, 1948 to the late Homer and Virginia Caudill of Grayson, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Alvin Caudill. Danny loved fishing, hunting and driving his tractor at work. He loved spending time with his family especially at family gatherings where dessert was always his main course.
He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Retta Caudill. His daughter and son in law, LeeAnn and Daniel Carter of Barboursville,WV. Two grandsons that he loved to the moon and back, Jacob (Amanda) Roe of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Daniel Lee Carter II of Barboursville, WV. Two great grandchildren, Clementine Roe and Aiden Bowen of Olive Hill, Kentucky. Two sisters Debbie (Roger) Yates of Grayson, Kentucky and Cellia (Ron) Blevins of Greenup, Kentucky. Two brothers Jerry (Ann) Caudill of Grayson, Kentucky and Rick Caudill of Grayson Kentucky and a bonus daughter that he loved like his very own, Jennifer Roe of Longs, South Carolina as well as his little fur baby Max, that was always right by his side as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends that will miss him terribly.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Ronnie Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2023, and after 9 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Daniel Carter, Jacob Roe, Daniel Lee Carter II, Jerry Caudill, Rick Caudill and Roger Yates will serve as pallbearers.
