Fannie Mae Lucas Peterman, age 81, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky passed away at Hospice Care Center Wednesday, May 31, 2023, with her daughter and family at her bedside.
Fannie was born October 25, 1941 a daughter of the late Charles Clifford, Sr, and Magel Marshall Lucas. Her son Charles Wesley Peterman Jr “Wes”, brothers Harold R. Fannin and Charles Clifford Lucas Jr, and son in law Randall Lee Crabtree preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah Lynn Crabtree of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, two sisters in law: Gracie Fannin of Rush and Laura Carroll (Gary) of Cannonsburg, Kentucky. Grandson Clayton Gray of Panama City, Florida, and granddaughters Jayda Gray and Alyssa Sodder of Panama City, Florida, Brandi “Nicki” Eitniear of Ashland, Kentucky and Lily Sioux Worthington of Rush, Kentucky; three very special cousins who are more like daughters: Vickie Salyers, Nancy Burkhardt, and Carol Conley, along with a host of many family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
A Celebration of Life Service and reception will be held at Kilgore United Methodist Church in Rush, Kentucky at 5:00 PM on Monday, June 19, 2023. Mickey King will officiate the service, and those who wish to tell a story or remembrance are welcome to do so.
