George Stanley Cain, age 71, of Grayson, Kentucky, formerly of Independence Kentucky and Ashland, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, at Kings Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
He was born Thursday, March 20, 1952, in Montgomery, West Virginia.
George was a corporate pilot for Darling Ingredients and Addington Resources. He loved boating and spending time with his lake family, mowing grass, spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
George is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karla Kosem Cain; two sons, Greg (Gretchen) Cain of Loveland, Ohio and Tyler (Alia) Cain of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Trevor Cain, Caden Dyer, Nicholas Porter, Lilly Porter, Karoline Cain and Nora Cain; two sisters, Cathy (Jerry) Chancellor of Helena Alabama and Sue (Terry) Breeden of Shelbyville, Kentucky along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
A Memorial Service will be held 6 p.m., Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services with family and friends.
Friends may visit after 4 p.m., Thursday, May 11, 2023 until the service hour at Grayson Funeral Home.
