Ina Christine Walters, our beautiful sister, age 64, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Community Hospice Center in Ashland, Kentucky surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Thursday, May 29, 1958, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Virgil and Ethel Stegall Walters. Christine was loved and adored by her mother, Ethel.
Chris loved to walk in town, everyone knew her by her smile. She loved shopping and eating out, at her favorite restaurant, Tyler’s Pizza and she enjoyed watching westerns on tv.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother, Earl Glen Walters; three sisters, twins, Dottie Walters, Dorothy Walters, and Shirley Hall.
Chris is survived by three sisters, Rose (Ray) Bloomfield of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Barbara Walters of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Teresa (Roger) Long of Ashland, Kentucky; two cousin sisters, Debra Boggs and Tempie Boggs of Olive Hill, Kentucky along with many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Private grave side services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 in Olive Hill, Kentucky. She will be laid to rest by her mother. Friends will gather at her sisters house to celebrate her life. We will always love you, Chris.
