Mrs. Josephine Wiggins Phillips, age 93, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Saint Claire Health Center in Morehead, Kentucky.
She was born Tuesday, July 30, 1929, in Lawrence, Kansas to the late Theodore Rosavelt and Ruby May Surface Wiggins.
Josephine was a member of the Christ Community Church. She enjoyed working in flowers, restoring old photos, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Virgil Phillips; one grandson, John McCleese; two brothers, Edsel Durwood Wiggins and Theodore Wiggings.
Josephine is survived by one son, Phil David Phillips and Malinda of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one daughter, Jo Carla McCleese and her husband, Marcus of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one sister, Rose Slane of Wichita, Kansas along with family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ Community Church, Olive Hill, Kentucky.
