Mr. Lee Michael Scaggs, age 44, of Lawton, Kentucky passed away Monday, May 8, 2023 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Tuesday, February 20, 1979 in Boyd County, Kentucky, a son of Leroy Scaggs and the late Gracie Boggs Kidd.
Lee was a member of the Soldier Church of God. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, farming and especially spending time with family.
Lee is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Tina Biggs Scaggs; three sons, Michael Scaggs, Eric Scaggs, Anthony Scaggs, all of Lawton, Kentucky; one sister, Jennifer (Dustin) Hulett of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; one nephew, Avery Hulett; two nieces, Zoe Hulett, Mia Hulett; along with many other family members and friends who will mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Steve Madden and Brother Tippy Price officiating. Burial will follow at the Scaggs Cemetery in Lawton, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, and after 9 a.m., Thursday, May 11, 2023, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Michael Scaggs, Eric Scaggs, Leroy Scaggs, Dustin Hulett, Kevin Boggs, and Cody Boggs will serve as pallbearers.
Anthony Scaggs and Avery Hulett will serve as honorary pallbearers.
