Linda Kaye Hicks Greene, age 78, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024, at Kings Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 18, 1946, in Boyd County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Owen and Fannie Maye Gullett Hicks.
Linda was a member of Kenova Church of Christ and Hilltop Homemakers and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed baking helping folks, volunteering with 4H members and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Olivia and her cat, Red.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David Hicks and Brian Hicks.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark Edward and Angela Hensley of Somerset, Kentucky, Matthew Scott and Jessica Hensley of Cannonsburg, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Olivia Hensley, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
A Celebration of Life will be held 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Friday, September 20, 2024, at Kenova Church of Christ, 1801 Chestnut Street, Kenova, West Virginia.
