Linda McCormick Blazer, age 68, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Boyd County Nursing and Rehabilitation in Ashland, Kentucky.
She was born Sunday, December 12, 1954, in Ross County, Ohio, to the late John and Maxine McGlone McCormick.
Linda was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed cooking for her family, working in her flowers, spending time with her family and especially spending time with her dog, Stripes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband of 55 years, Joseph Blazer and one daughter, Laura Carver.
She is survived by three sons, John Blazer of Beaver, West Virginia, Joseph Blazer Jr. of Carter City, Kentucky, Luke Blazer of Vanceburg, Kentucky; one daughter, Angel Stillwell of Vanceburg, Kentucky; thirteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Brenda Conn and Zona McCormick both of Sunberry, Ohio, Susie McCormick of Grayson, Kentucky along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, August 18, 2023, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Bill Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Blazer Family Cemetery in Lewis County, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 9:30 a.m., Friday, August 18, 2023, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
