Louise Gilliam Rose, age 87, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022, at St. Claire Healthcare in Morehead, Kentucky.
She was born April 27, 1935 to the late Myrtle Florence Gilliam.
She enjoyed watching westerns and soap operas, working in her garden, hunting mushrooms and ginseng and cooking for her family.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford “Buddy” Rose; one son, Robert Rayburn; two brothers, Jack Gilliam, Curt Zornes; three grandchildren, Heath Rayburn, Ashley Rae Littleton, Scott Rayburn; two son in laws, Bobby Littleton, Billy Thompson and one daughter in law, Brenda Rayburn.
She is survived by two sons, Larry (Lisa) Rose, Ricky Rose both of Olive Hill Kentucky; three daughters, Barbara “Susie Littleton of Morehead, Kentucky, Trish (Mike) Lowe of Grayson, Kentucky and Vickie (Scott) Stacy of Emerson, Kentucky; seventeen grandchildren; thirty five great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Globe Funeral Chapel 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother John Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Family Cemetery on Rose Ridge Cemetery.
