Billy Michael “Mike” Carroll, age 75, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Saint Claire Healthcare in Morehead, Kentucky.
He was born November 19, 1948, in Carter County, Kentucky, to the late Billy Carlos and Mildred Pauline Lowe Carroll.
Mike proudly served his country in the United States Marines and was of the Baptist Faith. He loved to play Chess, watching Boxing, working in the Greenhouse with plants and fruit trees and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bonnie Isaac Carroll; two daughters, Lisa Michelle Parish and Gina Marie (William) Rodgers, all of Olive Hill, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Roger Stewart (Katelyn) Fisher Jr., William Michael Rogers and Bonnie Jean Johnson; along with many other family and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother David Rayburn officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Hill Memorial Gardens, Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday April 30, 2024, and after 9 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2024, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
Military honors will be conducted at graveside by Olive Hill American Legion Post 138.
Allen Johnson, Billy Rodgers, Bill Rodgers, Butch Fowler, Eric Meade, Jeff Wells will serve as pallbearers.
Roger Stewart Fisher Jr. will serve as honorary pallbearer.
