Mrs. Rita Lynn Leadingham Roe, age 72, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away, Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Community Hospice in Ashland, Kentucky.
She was born June 4, 1950 in Grahn, Kentucky a daughter to the late Mackie Leadingham and Nellie Brown Leadingham Porter.
Rita enjoyed shopping with her sisters and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Gomez Leadingham, James Mackie Leadingham, Lloyd Leadingham; six sisters, Berleda Stevens,
Glenna Jean Evans, Sheila Kiser, Donna Owens, Sharon Frazier and Alberta Craycraft.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Clifford “Sod Buster” Roe of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two sons, Darrin Roe and Phillip (Tonya) Roe both of Olive Hill, Kentucky; three sisters, Alice Kegley of Mableton, Georgia, Connie Lemon and Vickie Mosier both of Olive Hill, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Jacob Daniel Roe, Dylan Thomas Roe, Caleb Brent Roe, Isaiah Matthew Roe, Robert Roe; and one great granddaughter Clementine Roe along with a host of other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 12. 2022 at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill Kentucky with Brother Ronnie Easterling and Brother Phillip Roe officiating. Burial will follow in Biggs Hill Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit Monday, July 11, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2022.
Jacob Roe, Dylan Roe, Billy Roe, Caleb Roe. Robert Roe. Jamie Frazier and Terri Ernst will serve as pallbearers.
William Waddell will serve as honorary pallbearer.
