Mrs. Sonya Lynn Reynolds Kavanagh, age 46, of Grayson, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was born November 14, 1973, in Lexington, Kentucky, a daughter of Larry and Treasa Middleton Reynolds of Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Sonya was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed traveling, concerts and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Sonya was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Clifford and Ola Reynolds; her maternal grandparents, Clyde and Imagene Middleton; and one niece, Brittany Reynolds.
She is survived by two daughters, Destiny Tomlin (Kegan) of Grayson, Kentucky and Rebecca Tomlin (Kurtis) of Richmond, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Kaedyn Adams, Alexis Adams and Jensen Adams; one brother, Shawn Reynolds (Irma) of Olive Hill, Kentucky; two sisters, Tyronia Reynolds and Kelli Jean Reynolds both of Olive Hill, Kentucky; and her fiancé of 16 years, Eric White. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Rickey Blevins and Brother Jimmy Barker officiating. Interment will follow at the Olive Hill Memorial Park in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2020, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Larry Reynolds, Shawn Reynolds, Eric White, Cody Reynolds, Jerry Middleton and Rickey Blevins will serve as pallbearers.
