Billie Jean Holland, 94, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Tuesday morning, April 24, 2023 at her residence. She was born December 24, 1928 in Carter County, KY; a daughter of the late Willie and Florence Hollingsworth McCoy.
Billie attended Oakland Christian Holiness Church. She loved flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren, and watching Nascar and UK basketball. Billie was a member of The Order of Eastern Star #290 in Olive Hill, KY.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Holland in 2016; one son-in-law, Everett “Junie” Carroll; three sisters, Blanch Osenton, Lillian Offill, and Betty Dixon; three brothers, Burl McCoy, Charlie McCoy, and Bob McCoy; and one grandson, Nick Nolen.She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Carroll of Olive Hill, and Tracie Darby of Wheelersburg, OH; one son, Billy (Dawn) Osborn of Franklin, OH; one brother, Ray (Alberta) McCoy; seven grandchildren, Kim Edison, Steve Carroll, Pecos Osborn, Kory Darby, Savannah Osborn, Drew Darby, and Adam Osborn; nine great-grandchildren, Nicole Nolen, Danielle Gilliam, Paige Lunsford, Stephen Carroll, Noah Osborn, Abel Osborn, Gunner Ratliff, Raelyn Wilson, and August Darby; and six great-great grandchildren, Kayleigh and Landon McDavid, Madison, Kaycee, and Jaxson Gilliam, Tyanna and Remi Lunsford, and Adalyn and Emilia Carroll. In addition to these, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will greatly miss her and cherish her memory.Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Bro. Gary Sparks officiating.
