Deanna Dale Tackett Dunaway, age 83, of Grayson, Kentucky passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at St. Claire Healthcare in Morehead, Kentucky.
She was born April 15, 1939 in Carter County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Glendall “Jiggs” and Emma Jarvis Tackett.
Deanna attended New Life Victory Church & New Beginnings Church. She loved to bake, paint, go to church, reading her bible and she loved nature.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-three years, Everett Dunaway; one brother, Jimmy Tackett and one sister Linda Mullins.
She is survived by two sons, Harold (Debbie) Waggoner of Ashland, Kentucky, Everett (Portia) Dunaway of Jackson, Kentucky; three daughters, Evelyn (Jim) Harr, Ramona (Raymond) Porter all of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Linda (Mike) Sparks of Grayson, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Derek Carroll, Mikie Sparks, Brittnee Harr, Courtney Sparks, Chelsey Armstrong, Matthew Porter, Jessica Dunaway and Jenna Dunaway; six great grandchildren, Braeleigh, Brantlee, Bennett, Annsley, Kenna and Gabe; one sister, Rhonda Cambell of Grayson, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 US Hwy. 60 West, Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother David Boggs and Brother Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Jr. O.U.A.M. Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022 and after 9 a.m., Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
