Ms. Esther Rhae ‘Tootsie’ Blevins, age 68, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at her residence in Olive Hill, Kentucky surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Thursday, March 10, 1955 in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the Billie James and the late Ray Blevins.
She was retired from the sewing factory and loved art, cake decorating, working puzzles, working in her flowers and most of all she loved spending time with her nieces, nephews and her ‘fur baby’ Nicky.
Esther is survived by her mother, Billie James; one sister, Retta (Danny) Caudill of Grahn; one niece, LeeAnn (Daniel) Carter of Barboursville West Virginia; two great nephews, Jacob (Amanda) Roe of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Daniel Lee Carter II of Barboursville, WV; one great-great niece, Clementine Roe and a great-great nephew, Aiden Bowen of Olive Hill, Kentucky. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Phillip Roe officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2023, and after 9 a.m. Friday, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway U.S. 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Jacob Roe, Darren Roe, Daniel Carter, Daniel Carter II, Lee Warren and Phillip Roe will serve as pallbearers.
