Ida” Faye” James Littleton, age 87, of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, formerly of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Carolyn’s House Hospice of Central of Pennsylvania.
She was born Friday, November 25, 1938, in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late William Dennis and Dora Easterling James.
Faye was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, and a faithful member of Country and Town Baptist Church in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. She was a proud member of the VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary, where she valued fellowship and service to her community.
Faye’s greatest pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them, and her love, kindness, and gentle spirit will remain in their hearts forever.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Philip Paul Littleton; three brothers, Freddy James, William Michael James, Raymond “Beanie” James; two sisters, Joann Brinegar and Gayle Cline.
Faye is survived by two sons, Fred (Terri) Littleton of Prosper, Texas, William (Karen) Littleton of Burlington, Kentucky; two daughters, Paula (Tony) Russell of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, Joni (Bill) Ward of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Christopher (Lydia) Littleton, Daniel (Elizabeth) Littleton, Andrew Russell (Daniel Burton), Sean Littleton, Zachary (Olivia) Littleton, Shanon Ward (Mason) Cornman; six great-grandchildren, Sonja, Simen, Gwendolyn, Amelia, Mallory and James. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace in the presence of her Savior.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Joe Cline officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Olive Hill.
Friends may visit after 9:30 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2026, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
